The Biltmore Estate is a must see Asheville attraction and just 8 miles from the cabins.  A French Renaissance Revival-style home, the Biltmore house was built for George Washington Vanderbilt in 1895.

At 178,926 square feet and 125,000 acres, it is America’s largest house.
Vanderbilt employed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted to design the beautiful grounds that surround the house, farms and forests along the French Broad River.

If you have more than one day to explore the estate, we recommend you buy a season pass to fully experience the gardens, greenhouse, hiking trails, bike paths, river, farm, winery and other aspects of the Biltmore Estate.
